WHERE IS THE LOVE? by Gypsy Taub

WHERE IS THE LOVE? by Gypsy Taub

Where is the love?
Lost and abandoned,
Traded for flickering screens,
Cheap sex and an empty high.

Where is God?
Forgotten, distorted,
Exploited, discarded
By gold-covered priests

As they rape our children
In their bible schools,
As they rape our minds and souls
With their promise of hell.

Where is that spark
That ignited my soul
When I was a child,
When I was alive?

I feel God trying to reach me,
Trying to teach me
How to not give up,
With every breath I take.

Love is there, love is here,
It’s deep inside me
Yearning to explode,
Yearning to break free.

Anti-war activist, 911 truther, media activist and now a nudist activist. I love my kids, love music, love to dance, love to travel. My favorite place on this planet is Mexico.
